Scotland's rapidly expanding EdTech consultancy, 448 Studio, has moved to strengthen even further its management team by appointing a Head of Marketing and Brand.

David Cowan has already enjoyed a globe-trotting career, working in senior
roles with companies in China, Indonesia, and the UK.
During the last ten years, David has also found time to establish his own
creative agency, working with many well-known product and service-led brands
including Royal Bank of Scotland, The North Face and the University of
Glasgow.
Now he will join 448 Studio Founder and CEO, Dan Marrable, in driving the
business forward and building on the company's growing reputation in the
higher education arena.
448 Studio, based in Renfrewshire, was established three years ago and has
enjoyed almost non-stop growth. The agency offers social media workshops and
consultancy for the public sector and higher education and has established
an online event platform tailored for education called Forumm.
David said of his new adventure with 448 Studio: "I shared an office space
with Dan in the days when he was making a reality of his vision to support
the higher education and research sectors. I have thoroughly enjoyed
watching his company's rapid growth.
"I am beyond ecstatic to be joining 448 Studio at such a pivotal time of the
company's expansion plans. With the next version of Forumm launching in
early 2022, I look forward to positioning it as the product tailored
directly to higher and further education organisations.
"Our marketing efforts will focus on delivering products that will enable
education professionals to excel, whether they are delivering outstanding
events, or creating their social media strategy."
448 Studio's core mission is to provide an avenue for knowledge sharing and
learning within the education community. Its founder and CEO, Dan Marrable
said: "I am so glad to welcome David on board at this stage in our
development. His arrival is tremendous news and deeply exciting for the
company. His experience and knowledge have already been enormously
valuable."
The company responded to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown by launching a
twenty-four-hour global online conference for the education sector called
All Day All Night. It operates on 448 Studio's Forumm platform.
