Ian McDougall will be taking up his new role immediately. He has been providing financial advisory services to growing businesses for 25 years.
He said: “I am passionate about helping businesses develop their organisations and providing them with straightforward sound financial advice. My focus is on working to create growth in businesses and ensuring that they maximise their profitability and grow shareholder value.”
Ian McDougall, who is based in the West of Scotland, continued: “In its short lifetime, 448 Studio has demonstrated a deep commitment to its clients and breath-taking ingenuity in adapting to the demands of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“One only has to hear the feedback from the company’s growing list of customers to understand that it is a highly professional, innovative agency and a serious investment opportunity.”
Ian McDougall has taken a particular interest in the innovation and technology sector and was formerly the Non-Exec Finance Director of thinkWhere prior to its sale to IDOX plc in late 2021.
448 Studio’s core mission is to provide an avenue for knowledge sharing and learning within the education community. Its founder and CEO, Dan Marrable said: “Ian joining us at this stage in our development is tremendous news and deeply exciting for the company. His experience and knowledge have already been enormously valuable.”
448 Studio, based in Renfrewshire, was established three years ago and has enjoyed almost non-stop growth. The agency offers social media workshops and consultancy for the public sector and higher education and has recently released an online event platform tailored for education called Forumm.
The company responded to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown by launching a twenty-four-hour global online conference for the education sector called All Day All Night. It operates on 448 Studio’s own virtual event platform Forumm.
