Forumm's First Pre-Seed Investment Round Exceeds Expectations

As many of you know, Forumm - our groundbreaking platform for fostering enriched university and school alumni relations - recently embarked on its inaugural Pre-Seed investment round. Today, I'm excited to announce that the response from our close-knit community exceeded all our expectations.

We initially set our sights on raising £50K, but thanks to your trust in our mission and the potential of Forumm, we overshot our goal by an astounding 65% to close the round at £84K. This isn't merely a financial achievement, but a testament to the collective belief in our vision for Forumm.

This support puts us in a robust position for the future. We can now move forward with confidence, shaping the platform's strategic decisions as we seek further funding over the next six months. The team will grow with an additional developer, our marketing efforts ramp up with a sponsorship at CASE Europe in Edinburgh, but most importantly, we will be onboarding universities and schools onto our platform allowing them to engage with their community and fundraise.

While this is a financial milestone, it's also a celebration of generosity in terms of advice, guidance, and wisdom shared with us. We've been incredibly fortunate to receive invaluable insights from many of you, which have shaped Forumm's journey so far and will undoubtedly continue to do so.

Meeting at Strathclyde to finalise the round.

A special welcome to Alistair Gray, Andy Holliday, Andy Pritchard, Magnus Swanson, Malcolm Howat, and Simon Marrable for joining us as our first shareholders. This is just the beginning, a stepping stone to greater heights for Forumm, and we're thrilled to be taking this journey with you.

From all of us here at Forumm, thank you for your steadfast support and trust in our vision. We're just getting started, and we can't wait to share more of our journey with you in the coming months. If you'll be attending CASE Europe (CEAC) in Edinburgh at the end of August, please don't hesitate to drop by our booth - we'd love to see you!
